Space Movies always love their robots!

Check these!

I prefer the projected faces over normal physical body parts

You should be glad the real SkyNet is British when it becomes self aware out of politeness it will in the best clearly understandable Queens English offer you a blindfold and a fag*1 before unleashing the CyberHounds as shooting would be unsporting.

Just out of interest were those robots sufficiently human like to really be in the uncanny valley for you :?: to me they seemed cartoon like enough not to be creepy.

*1 For those of you across the pond the tobacco kind that burns.

Just about all the anthropomorphized hypercute machinery gives me the heebie geebies, like the talking Cars in that movie, and the Chevron commercials. Uncanny valley, man. Going by the title, I thought this would be about the real Robots in space, you know the ones who've been doig pretty much everything from the beginning except posing for photo-ops?
