And riding an explosive with a liquid air supply is better? We don't go to space because it is the safest idea, we go because it is a frontier, perpetual orbit without a reaction mass.... That sounds like at the very least a good experiment. I am going to try it in blender, anyone good at python?

Let not the bindings of society hold you back from improving it.... the masses follow where the bold explore.
