Bad management of NASA by Congress is considered a major source of problems with the USA's manned space program. For me, it is Kay Bailey Hutchinson's effort to resurrect Project Constellation and Orion, and her opposition to commercial space travel. She did not support the Shuttle C in the 1990s. I know this can be said of other senators, but as a Texan, I am biased. I would replace Kay Bailey Hutchinson with John Carmack. |
