Anyone got any experience with any free software to test models for aerodynamics?

OpenFOAM seems to be the thing, but I've never used it. I searched around a bit and it does seem that people use it for this sort of thing, but it's not really a point-and-click affair I think, you need to do a bit of studying to use it. And create your model somehow, and visualise the results if that's what you want.
