How does a team go about registering for the X Cup? Or does a team have to be a registrant for the X-Prize in order to compete for the cup? Anyone know? Thanks.
Cheers, Pete |

Cheers, Pete If you're intrested in registering for the Ansari X Prize Cup, you should contact Gregg Maryniak: gmaryniak@xprize.org, or you can contact them by mail, telephone or fax: The X PRIZE Foundation 722-A Spirit of St. Louis Blvd St. Louis, Mo. 63005 t. +1 636 519 9449 f. +1 314 533 6502 And you don't have to be competing for the Ansari X Prize, to compete for the Ansari X Prize Cup, so everyone is free to sign up. _________________ Heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible. - Lord Kelvin, 1892 |

Thanks. All the literature I've seen mentioned "X-Prize teams", so I thought that X-Prize registration was required.
Is there a listing anywhere of currently registered XCup teams? |

As long as I know.. there is no xprize cup information really public, most of it will be planned and made by the xprize organization when the ansari x prize is actually won. _________________ Heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible. - Lord Kelvin, 1892 |

Hey,
There is a lot of planning involved for the X PRIZE CUP, that's what I worked on all summer, but one thing is for certain abuot registration. It will be a whole new procedure. For the ANSARI X PRIZE the teams had to sign a Master Team Agreement (MTA) that was specific for the current competition. A new registration/agreement document will have to be made based on the X PRIZE CUP rules. Also it is not the ANSARI X PRIZE CUP... unless they become the tile sponsor again. That we will have to wait for Cheers, Ryan |
