Power Supply Weight

I where wondering how much weight is used on the batteries for all the devices on board, and if it would be any help to reduce them.?

because i know of a technology which can vastly affect battery performance.
so if the weight is large it might be a quick extra boost, and if not well then i'll use my energy on something else...

Well, sure we could always save weight! Right now NSE-6 is powered by a 11.7v li-poly and weighs about 140 grams is 2000mah and can handle a 30 A load the max draw is 11 A during the firing sequence and about 2 A 20% duty cycle during the transmit routine.
For the space shot you can double all the above.

Currently the system im working with is a bit heavy, but when it's not made out of junk the weight is very small and the increase in battery efficiency is about 120-150 times, and the next one should be about 240-300 times.

So if it works as its suppose to, i might be able to power it all from a watch battery, and still have power left, but it's still not online.
But im getting closer all the time...

So what i'm saying is, we might have enough power for live broadcasts and high powered radio system, if wanted or needed.

In any case, most of my time is currently being used on the project or school, so i can get some serious progress, and some investors in the near future, so i can get a workshop.

But it looks very promising.

Send me some details I'll help you out with fundraising if you'd like. Going to be working with Monroe on his push and lightweight power systems are one of the most important features of a decent space project. Can pitch this to my NYC contacts too.
