The core team will remain unchanged when term starts (later this week). We're all *still* undergraduates, though some are starting their final year. I've another two to go.
We welcome new people - they normally find us anyway, and it's a good filter of dedication/willing - where most people put up stalls at society fairs and sign up 200 new people, like we have done before, we know just tend to use the people who find us - small focussed teams of dedicated people are much better than half-committed email lists. Current progress - we've potentially some exciting developments and missions coming up. We're working on hopefully the final (for a while, anyway) iteration of flight electronics. Work will continue on a guided parafoil descent vehicle. The biggest work will be on the 100+km rocket. Our composite construction techniques and autoclave pockery are, after a fairly busy summer, beginning to bear fruit. The construction of a decent suborbital rocket is definitely the priority before we sit down and plan our roadmap to orbit. _________________ Cambridge University Spaceflight - www.cuspaceflight.co.uk |
