I have an idea for a new place for the handicapped to have OT and PT. It will be in space. The handicapped will benefit from these therapies in space because of weightlessness. In weightlessness, the handicapped would be able to float around and relax their muscles for the therapists to stretch them out.

Very true. Those with neurological and paralytic conditions are likely to find micro-gravity an equalizer. Beyond just therapy, they may find it a much more liberating environment to live and work completely.

See the story, "Waldo," by Robert Heinlein. Published in 1942, it is a standard of Science Fiction, that deals with just this scenario.
