Post Russian Rearmament   Posted on: Wed Mar 14, 2007 11:57 pm
As a response to the US plans to install a missile shield in Eastern Europe and in a Kaukazian Republic, the Russians plan to upgrade their military, especially air defense and ballistic missile systems.

Will the Russian space activities benefit from these efforts? Perhaps by speeding up the Angara program for a new generation launcher for military satellites? Will Russia invest in low-cost systems that could be available on short notice?

What do you think?
