When things go wrong. Hasn't been a good couple of years for the Russian launch business.

I'm just miffed that they didn't warn me. Rockets don't blow up so often any more these days, and this really would have been an awesome scenario for a launch poll
![]() Indeed Russian rockets have had QA issues recently. I wonder how many people are going to lose their jobs in the move from Baikonur to Vostochny. Maybe they just don't care so much any more? Or it could be plain old corruption. Or bad processes, or bad luck. Anyway, we still have Ariane 5, Delta IV Heavy and Atlas 5 in that payload capacity class, so there are other options for people who don't like Proton any more. Let the market sort it out ![]() _________________ Say, can you feel the thunder in the air? Just like the moment ’fore it hits – then it’s everywhere What is this spell we’re under, do you care? Just as long as they keep Soyuz launcher quality up.
