Guys

Finally starting to get enough time to read through the forum :)

Anyway, got some post from Starchaser today! About time ey!

It says, in brief!

-Positive results from Eco-Engine tests
-Will launch from Morecambe Bay
-Altitude up to 30,000 feet
-need £20k raised before launch
-400 tickets offered
-£50 a ticket
-Letter gone to 3000 people

Also there is a drawing of the rocket, looks cool!

Nice to see them ready to launch again!

Rob

I'll buy a ticket, then :). Or I could just get binoculars and try to see it from where I live, which is practically on the bay...

Perhaps you could take a few photos and do a bit of a write up for the Space Fellowship?

If Sigurd is agreeable you could be our in-situ reporter (as opposed to roving) if you're that close?

I'd like to go, but I'm not trusting the UK transportation system enough to venture out on a journey like that yet. Wish it'd been closer to London!

i'm a little skeptical of a 30k ft launch after not hearing about them doing anything for a while except "educational outreach". they've got some nice ideas but i call shenanigans. it'll probably be more legit than what ARCA pulled right before the x-prize was won, but i smell a "let's launch something so people pay attention to us again" sort of situation... call me cynical...
