I see that NASA are still tied to their $250k limit. I would have thought that the Planetary Science Vehicle Competition should have had a bigger prize. How much have the government and private industry a;lready spent on airial reconnaisence vehicles?
Cant see NASA getting to many takers for that one at $250k. I can see teams getting interested in the telerobotic Construction challenge though as it would almost lend itself to a robot wars type competition where anyone can take part. I'm still waiting for the multi-million dollar prize for building a 100+ ton HLV with a payload cost of $20/kg to LEO. ![]() _________________ A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. |
