Of all the remaining Xprize teams which vehicle/concept design would you like to see fly next?

Armadillo ... oh wait ... do you mean fly beyond 100 km or just fly ... because if you mean beyond 100 km it's harder to predict. Actually, isn't STC doing another test soon?

First Wild Fire,
second ARCA, Black Armadillo and the vehicle of the second canadian team. I have in mind the one sea-launching team too but there have been no news from them since a long time. Dipl.-Volkswirt (bdvb) Augustin (Political Economist) |

You know, I am ready to see something from the Blue Ridge Nebula folks- they should be making trips to Pluto by now.
I think they had to order a new screen door for the flying Hooptie from Home Depot, though! |

Ummm... well, according to their website, they have been making some progress: "8-5-2004: Day pre-flight display of our UFO's internal and external lighting systems at FTG airport, Saucer open to the both the media and public for one of the last times before our FAA -AST flight testing program initiates. 9-10-2004 Colorado Summer History Event!! The DEHAS Ramrocket-711 instalation / op's testing at 15, 25, 50, 75, and even 100% max (7k lbs each, total 14,000 lbs) static thrust . Both air ram /supercharge rocket inlet op's, and Vertical / Horizontal exhaust exit - vectoring initial op's confirmation test. Thanks for the update!
They actually do have the "saucer" listed with the FAA. Assigned/Registered Aircraft Aircraft Description Serial Number 71100A Type Registration Individual Manufacturer Name HAYNES DOUGLAS EDWARD Certificate Issue Date 10/21/2003 Model HSGS 711 Status Valid Type Aircraft Fixed Wing Single-Engine Type Engine Reciprocating Pending Number Change None Dealer No Date Change Authorized None Mode S Code 52300027 MFR Year None Fractional Owner NO Registered Owner Name HAYNES DOUGLAS E Street xxxxxxxx City DENVER State COLORADO Zip Code 802xx County DENVER Country UNITED STATES Of course, this doesn't address the problem of no pilots license= Hey, I hope they can pull it off, and make us look silly for being sceptical. I am not gonna fly on it, though. |

The next time I have business on Pluto, I will certainly look into flying with them.
Wonder if it's a meal flight? --Ralph _________________ --Ralph Roberts CEO, Creativity, Inc. author of THE HUNDRED ACRE SPACESHIP http://1vid.com |

If you're talking about hardware leaving the ground, I think STC is next up. I wish I could be there. I would love to see that tincan have a successful launch.
